VCL-2486-M

The VCL-2486-M is a managed Ethernet-over-E1 (EoPDH) multiplexer that allows seamless integration of Ethernet traffic into existing SDH/PDH transport infrastructure. Supporting GFP-F, ML-PPP, and LCAS technologies, it maps Ethernet data efficiently over multiple E1 channels. This enables service providers and utilities to migrate from legacy TDM networks to IP/Ethernet without replacing backbone infrastructure. The device supports QoS, VLAN tagging, rate-limiting, and comprehensive network management features. It is ideal for transmitting IP-based SCADA, protection signals, CCTV, and corporate data over long distances.
